\nIn April 2013, Mr Shore was honoured with the appointment as adjunct professor at the National Heart and Lung Institute in recognition of his contribution and close working relationship with Imperial College.
\nExperience
\nHe has practiced in many areas of cardiothoracic surgery, including surgery for coronary artery disease, aortic and aortic valve disease and congenital heart disease.
\nMr Shore was appointed consultant cardiac surgeon at Royal Brompton Hospital in 1987, after being a consultant at Southampton General Hospital.
\nHe has held many senior management positions and is currently acting director of the heart division at Royal Brompton Hospital.
\nTeaching
